In order order to import schedule date/time/score/locations/notes from Excel you must first export one of you league schedules to Excel. The reason is that each exported record has an ID (see circled column). Without this ID you can not import your schedule data back. 1) step Export Schedule to Excel Go To Schedule page and click 'Export To Excel' button as shown below: 2) Save File to your computer. Very important to 'Save As' as Excel document as shown below. Otherwise you won't be able to import it back 3) Your export is done and you now should have a similar looking file. 4) Change data (dates, times..) Do not change or remove ID column. If it is messed up your import will fail. Below are some rules explaining how you need to format your import data All fields are optional with the exception of ID column a) Home Score, Guest Score - must be numbers (otherwise will not be loaded) Home Score, Guest Score can only be loaded for round robin leagues and social pairs. For Single/Double elimination tournaments and playoffs - home/guest scores CAN NOT be loaded. b)Location - must be a text field. If it is a number it will be ignored. Must be one of your existing location. If it is not recorgnised it will be ignored. c) Date/Time !!! are prepended with '*' symbol (see picture). You must keep it. It's inconvenient but it is one of the requirements in order to import dates correctly. 5) Once you have formatted/prepared your data go to 'Utils' screen and import your schedule: If some of the records fail to insert/update during the import you can manually update it directly in the application Contact Us if you have questions |
